February MY PINK STAMPER Pink A Licious Blog Hop

~ Hi there ~

WOW! Time is surely flying by here at the YHMAC headquarters! It seems like yesterday I was making and preparing my post for last months blog hop and here it is already time for February's...just in time for Valentine's Day!

Since moving and getting settled here in my new home, I have become ubber BUSY with all sorts of fun activities, not ALL craft related so my POSTS have slowed a bit. But I'm glad you're here today, so let's get right down to the HOPPING NITTY GRITTY!

This MONTH'S THEME and CHALLENGE was...

Use the color red, a circle, a pink ribbon and MORE THAN ONE  My Pink Stamper stamp!

My inspiration came from one of my favorite crafty websites Split Coast Stampers  . They have a wonderful picture tutorial and video, HOWEVER I choose to use my CRICUT via my new FAV CRICUT TOY...Cricut Craft Room,  I LOVE THAT SITE! If you haven't given it a try yet, YOU SHOULD!... and it's FREE!

Here's my version of a WORD CARD using the CRICUT CRAFT ROOM...

I used 3 stamps from the LOVE A LICIOUS STAMP SET

I'm giving this little ditty to my DH for Valentine's Day, so I'm going to X the pink ribbon before I give it to him...I know he's going to love it!

I bet you're wondering where the CIRCLE is in my design?! Two places silly...on the bicycle patterned paper, bicycle wheels are circles....AND I used the word "circle" as part of my sentiment! 

I know...I'm so clever, hehe :)

I'll keep my post short and sweet, so I can get right to sharing this month's PINK DESIGNER PROJECT! I always have a BLAST working with MY PINK STAMPER STAMPS and this project was no exception. 

Recently, while browsing several home decor stores, I've noticed how popular SUBWAY ART has become. So today, here's my take on SUBWAY ART using a VALENTINE'S theme. It was SO EASY to do, and turned out GREAT!

As promised, here is the video TUT on how to make the TREAT BOXES I featured on MY PINK STAMPER'S JANUARY PINK A LICIOUS BLOG HOP yesterday! I was having trouble with blogger and it wouldn't let me post my video in time for the hop, so this post is sort of a PART TWO of that original post.

January 2012 PINK A LICIOUS

~Hello Everyone~ 

I'm SO EXCITED to be part today's PINK A LICIOUS BLOG HOP! If you've just arrived from  Robyn's Blog AKA MY PINK STAMPER - isn't she FABULOUS?!... then you are on the right track, if not hop on over to the BEGINNING so you don't MISS A THING ! 

You are in for a real TREAT as we start off the NEW YEAR exploring today's theme

"A FRESH CLEAN START"! 

My project today is a "Get To Know You" Treat and Game Box. 

I made these adorable EASY TREAT BOXES to  START off my new church calling as a Youth Leader! I will be working with young woman between the ages of 12 and 18 and I am SO EXCITED to start off this new adventure and get to know everyone of these wonderful girls! 

This project would be perfect to do at any event where you would like to break the ice and get to know NEW FRIENDS/NEW NEIGHBORS/NEW CO WORKERS...what ever!  

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...

1. Make a gift box (one for each person) and place a different CANDY BAR is each one.

2. Have each person (one at a time) open their box and reveal the CANDY BAR inside.

3. Depending on the CANDY BAR they get, they are asked a corresponding QUESTION.

Here is a example list of QUESTIONS you might use...

BAR ............QUESTION

PayDay Bar....If you could choose any line of work, other than your own, What would it be?

100 Grand Bar...What would you do if you won $100,000.00?

3 Musketeers Bar....What is the bravest thing you've ever done or would like to do?

Snickers Bar....What was your most embarrassing moment?

Almond Joy Bar....What was one the happiest moments of your life?
